Easom Automation Systems provides full service engineering and design services, turn key automated systems, and system integration. We provide superior engineering and design services for manufacturing processes and equipment.
Easom's mechanical engineering team takes a thorough and detailed approach to solution development from concept through design. Our in house mechanical design group utilizes Autodesk Inventor and/or Catia to provide our customers with designs for custom automation, fixtures, robotic tooling, and equipment.
Advanced kinematics drive sizing programs are used to assure proper selection of power train components and optimize cross sectional stresses. Our customers include major automotive manufacturers, tier one automotive suppliers, and non-automotive manufacturers, as well as suppliers of robotic and automation equipment.
Our Controls Engineering Department offers complete industrial controls design services, including controls architecture (networking, power distribution, PLC / Motion Control / HMI requirements and component selection), safety evaluation (safety zoning and component selection, hardware design, layout, detailing panel design and build, PLC ladder logic design and custom operator interface programming.
Easom is familiar with several types of Programmable Logic Controllers including:
Easom can also supply industrial display programming and user interface development using:
Easom has knowledge of various types of robots and perform traditional robot path programming to complex multi-robot and multi-axis coordinated motion. We have experience with:
Easom´s in house machining area occupies approximately 20% of our total facility. Equipment includes boring mills, NC and CNC machining centers, small mills, surface grinders, OD/ID grinders, and CMM equipment.
A team of experienced machinists operate the equipment to provide high quality parts to support our on time deliveries. When required, wide arrays of quality small service shops in the greater Detroit area supplement our in house capacity.
Our 64,800 sq. ft. assembly area is divided into four high bays with six bridge cranes ranging from 10 to 25 ton .
A team of experienced builders and technicians support machine assembly, pipe, wire, controls debug, robot programming to provide in house machine run off. Field installation support is provided as required or requested.
We are available 24/7 for Preventative Maintenance. Preventative maintenance will reduce the risk of unexpected failures and downtime. It will also avoid any unplanned maintenance activity and prevent excessive depreciation of your equipment.
Taking part in our Preventative Maintenance Program will optimizes the equipment for peak performance, durability, and maximizes the life-cycle of the equipment. Our experienced technicians will do a complete mechanical and electrical inspection of the equipment. The following analysis will be performed:
With a capable team of experienced field service technicians, we offer competent advice and answers to all service issues. Furthermore, we provide complete service for on-site support with installation, start-up, maintenance and troubleshooting. A 24 hr.
